WASHINGTON — The U.S. Postal Service will observe Independence Day on Saturday, July 4. All Post Office locations will be closed. Regular mail delivery and retail services will resume on Monday, July 6. Post Offices will be open, and deliveries will occur as normal on Friday, July 3.
WASHINGTON — The U.S. Postal Service today announced several new stamp issues to be released later in this year, along with dates and locations for many of the announced stamps. These designs are preliminary and may change.
EDGARTOWN, MA — Today, the U.S. Postal Service released Summer Sunset, a new nondenominated, nonprofit-rate stamp intended for bulk mailings by authorized nonprofit organizations.
The Postal Service recently released its dog attack city rankings for 2025. Last year, U.S. Postal Service employees suffered more than 5,200 dog attacks nationwide, including 40 incidents in Utah for dog bite and dog-related incidents involving mail carriers. Of these, Salt Lake City accounted for 14 incidents.
